Making the Most of your Ears with Music Tech
Music Tech & Studio Design
Modern music technology provides a perfect opportunity to see science working with art to produce something that can be appreciated anyone including those with no background in either subject.
The human ear is one of the most complicated organs in the body and is sensitive enough to detect the smallest movements in air, across a range of approximately 20,000 frequencies.
By understanding how the ear works and how the brain interprets auditory signals (Psychoacoustics) this can be combined with the physics of how sound behaves to control which frequencies arrive at the ear to create the optimal listening/recording environment.
Able Acoustics can provide design advice on how to achieve the optimal listening/performance environment and work with architects, acoustic product providers and private clients to achieve this.
We also provide visiting guest lectures to various universities and colleges around the UK, and are always happy to discuss the subject with you.
